Jeff Gomez, President and CEO of Starlight Runner Entertainment<a href="http://www.starlightrunner.com/">,</a> focused his speech on transmedia storytelling for cinema and advertising, Christy Dena, Director of Universe Creation 101, stressed her attention on the relationships between animation and cross-media using characters and fictional strategies, whilst Derrick De Kerkhove, Director of McLuhan Program in Toronto illustrated the physiology and psycology of animation in our brain.</div>

<p>How to create a transmedia bible,  how to  empower the bridging of contents between one media and the others, how to integrate our imaginery with the connective intelligence of the audience… lots and lots of suggestions to focus on next days!</p></div>

<p>The day before (friday, 17) Christy Dena, member of the international jury of &#8220;Cartoons on the bay&#8221;  hold a masterclass on cross-media storytelling subjects focusing on the story and the most important techniques for cross-media storytelling that were really useful and precious for the audience.</p>

<p>Stephen King debutta negli Usa con il suo primo fumetto, dove compare come autore e creatore di un terribile vampiro: Skinner Sweet, un rapinatore di banche e cowboy sociopatico del vecchio West, primo “succhiasangue” in terra americana. Dopo la collaborazione con la Marvel Comics, per l’adattamento di alcune sue storie, questa volta il re dell’horror all’americana ha prestato il suo genio creativo alla casa editrice statunitense Vertigo, una divisione del colosso Dc Comics per lettori over-18, dando vita ad una originale nuova serie di albi a fumetti intitolata “American Vampire”. King collaborerà per i primi cinque numeri, con lo scrittore ufficiale della serie Scott Snyder e con il disegnatore Rafael Albuquerque, ma la serie andrà avanti ancora per molto tempo a cadenza mensile. E se il successo arriverà, l’autore di “Carrie” e “Shining” è pronto a collaborare nuovamente. L’idea alla base del fumetto è che i vampiri americani si sono evoluti in modo diverso rispetto ai vampiri europei. Skinner Sweet, un fuorilegge sociopatico del selvaggio West, è il primo vampiro del nuovo continente. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Anche il Bellaria Film Festival, in programma a Bellaria Igea Marina da giovedì 3 a domenica 6 giugno 2010, scommette sulla cross-medialità, pur soltanto sommando ai consueti concorsi: Anteprima Doc, Casa Rossa Doc e Corto Doc un nuovo &#8220;Crossmedia Doc&#8221;, con il quale gli organizzatori si propongono di ricercare, valorizzare e promuovere le nuove forme di documentario, online e offline, e favorire lo scambio e il confronto tra i cineasti che sperimentano soluzioni innovative di storytelling. Possono partecipare al concorso web documentari italiani e internazionali che utilizzano il web e le nuove tecnologie per rappresentare la realtà e la relazione tra media digitali e documentario. Al concorso potranno essere presentate opere di diversa forma narrativa: film/documentari lineari, siti, progetti per telefonia mobile, installazioni. La selezione sarà effettuata in base ai seguenti criteri: soggetto, originalità dello storytelling, interattività e uso innovativo dei mezzi multimediali. I lavori devono essere terminati dopo il 1° gennaio 2009.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sono originali e numerose, ma ancora non del tutto compiute e mature sotto l&#8217;aspetto narrativo, le esperienze di &#8220;realtà aumentata&#8221;  proposte dall’advertising di fine 2009 con una ricca proliferazione di prodotti e sperimentazioni. Tra i brand che sovrappongono alla quotidianità percepita dal loro pubblico realtà  generate ad hoc via computer spiccano marchi quali BMW e Mattel, Toyota e Apple, Malwee e Sony, mentre le applicazioni della realtà aumentata trovano spazi di mercato e nuove forme di sperimentazione ormai praticamente in ogni settore, dalla strategia militare alla sanità, dall’industria automobilistica al marketing, dagli eventi culturali all’intrattenimento (link a performing roma in comunika heritage).</p>

<p>Eppure, guardando i prodotti e i servizi attivati in tutto il mondo in questi mesi, non si trovano ancora idee che favoriscano l&#8217;incrocio di più media né forme di racconto capaci di passare da un mezzo di comunicazione agli altri, per rinforzarsi e guadagnare proverbialmente &#8220;più pubblici al prezzo di uno&#8221;.</p>
