TRANSMEDIA STORYTELLING Workshop – Milan 7, October

A unique opportunity in Italy and an amazing workshop on transmedia storytelling will be held in Milan next October 7^th. The subtitle of the event is ‘Narratives of the future‘ and it will be held from 10 am to 4 pm in the Sala Cinquecento – Nucleo 4, on 1^st floor of Palazzo Lombardia. The topic will focus on a new kind of narratives that develop simultaneously through different media platforms, in order to get the audience involved in the experience of the story. “A new way to question reality”, as Jeff Gomez – CEO at Starlight Runner Entertainment USA and special guest of the workshop – defined the Transmedia world. Moderator of the meeting will be Max Giovagnoli – pioneer and author of Transmedia Storytelling in Italy. The workshop will be put on in partnership with CartoonLombardia, the  most important association for animated content producers in Northern Italy, and Innovation Festival, an initiative realized under the aegis of Regione Lombardia and Provincia di Milano. Jeff Gomez, who has managed the promotion of blockbuster franchises for cinema and tv – like Pirates of the Carebbean, Tron, Avatar, Coca Cola, Dexter, Ninja Turtles, Prince of Persia, Halo – will focus on tools, techniques, rules and anecdotes extremely useful for independent producers and majors’ professionals in this first edition of the event.

Un’occasione unica in Italia e una workshop sorprendente sulle narrazioni transmediali si terrà a Milano il prossimo 7 Ottobre. Sottotitolo dell’evento sarà ‘Narrazioni del futuro‘ e avrà luogo dalle 10:00 alle 16:00, presso la Sala Cinquecento – Nucleo 4, 1° Piano di Palazzo Lombardia in Piazza Città di Lombardia n.1. Focus dell’argomento sarà un nuovo tipo di narrazioni, che si sviluppano simultaneamente tramite diverse piattaforme, capaci di coinvolgere il pubblico nell’esperienza della storia. “Un nuovo modo di porre in questione la realtà“, così come Jeff Gomez – CEO alla Stralight Runner Entertainment USA e special guest della workshop – ha definito il mondo transmediale. Moderatore dell’incontro sarà Max Giovagnoli – pioniere e autore di racconti transmediali in Italia. La workshop sarà realizzata in partnership con CartoonLombardia, la più importante Associazione di Produttori Lombardi di Film di Animazione and Innovation Festival, iniziativa realizzata sotto il Patrocinio della Regione Lombardia e della Provincia di Milano. Jeff Gomez, che si è occupato della promozione di diversi kolossal del cinema e della tv – come Il Pirata dei Caraibi, Tron, Avatar, Coca Cola, Dexter, Tartarughe Ninja, Il Principe di Persia, Halo – approfondirà strumenti, tecniche, regole e aneddoti estremamente utili per i produttori indipendenti e i professionisti delle major durante questa prima edizione dell’evento.
